Mountain Biking

On Sunday 4 boys went biking with Mr Smith and Mr Hughes into the Dales.  Once again they all had great fun and came back very dirty.

The 9th Aysgarthian Clay Day was won by Edward Hamilton and Mr Southall.  They scored 45/50 in an excellent display of shooting.  In second place was Team Sinnott on 44 clays. In third place, and the highest placed 4th form boy, was Max Falkingham and his father who scored 43.  This was a fantastic score and set the standard before Edward and Thomas had shot.  Special mention should also go to Team Ainsocugh 39/50 who lead for most of the day, Team Wood/Bullas and the highest Mother & Son score by Team Philpott.

Once again Mr Irwin cooked steak on the BBQ with the boys!

New Boys Day

Aysgarth's new boys all stayed in for the weekend and had great FUN.  Boys played football, made camp fires, went swimming, had a BBQ and then played SNIPER with Mr Barlow, Mr Irwin and the Gap students.  The boys were superb and we all look forward to seeing them again in September.
