From the Head’s Office
A very warm Aysgarth welcome to all our families, in particular to those children who are new to school. It has been such a delight to see how quickly the children have settled into their classes at the start of the year. The Pre-Prep is such a happy school and I am sure you will join me in thanking the teaching staff for all their efforts preparing the classrooms for the start of term and ensuring the children enjoy a positive start to the new school year.
I believe that old saying “a photograph can tell a thousand words” to be so true, so with that aim I have tried to capture some of the special moments, the awe and wonder which your children are able to enjoy every day here at Aysgarth. A small selection is included in the centre pages of the Acorn, others can be found in the photo box at the entrance. I hope you enjoy them!
Thank you for your comments, both positive and otherwise, in relation to the trial morning routine. I will address your queries in a separate letter following our staff meeting tonight.
My door is always open and I hope together we can ensure your child has the best opportunities and experiences available to him / her. Please do pop in if you would like to discuss any matter.
With best wishes,
Susie Drake, Head of Pre-Prep
Dear Parents and Children, I would like to say a big Thank You to you all for your kindness and generosity when I left Pre-prep in July. The "Walking Shop" token will be well used to kit me out for my future adventures outside the classroom, and a lovely reminder of my happy days of teaching at Aysgarth. Thank you for making me so welcome, I will miss you, but hope to pop in to say hello now and again! Best wishes for the new term, from Mrs Hayden x
