Jorvick Adventure

Jorvick Adventure

It has been another action-filled week in the Pre-Prep in which PP3 enjoyed further sporting accomplishments in their matches against Lyndhurst and Gateways.  I am particularly impressed with the good grace with which our girls have enjoyed their continued success.  It is a delight to see them play with fairness as well as determination and equally make such warm and welcoming hosts to our visitors.

Year 3 also enjoyed their Viking adventure to York, visiting Dig as well as the Jorvik Centre.  A report by Isla and photographs can be found inside this edition.
The skipping workshop brought last week to an energetic close and has provided a great source of inspiration for active play during break times this week.  Thank you to the parents who supported this event (and were able to relive childhood memories for an hour or so!).

This afternoon, we will welcome pupils from Mowden School, who will be joining the girls for an art and design afternoon. Please remember that we will be celebrating World Book Day on Friday 6th March (a day late!) and invite all children to come to school dressed as their favourite story character.

With best wishes,
Susie Drake,  Head of Pre-Prep
