Spring Concert, farming and renovations!

Spring Concert, farming and renovations!

From the Head’s Office

Spring is on its way and thoughts in school have started to turn towards the continued improvement of the school playground.  Mrs Gaven has been busy collecting ideas and waving paint charts around the school in excitement of the renovation work to come.   We have started to introduce some of the new play resources, kindly provided by APPA, others will be assembled and introduced after Easter.

We are very grateful to Mr Dinsdale who kindly agreed talk to PP2 about his farm.  Thank you very much for adding so much to their topic work for this term.

Also in school, preparations for the Spring Concert are in full swing and Chris Hughes has joined the PP team to provide some very creative help with the lighting.  Thank you Chris!  We hope you will be able to join us for this wonderful celebration of the children’s work this term.  The concert will be keenly followed by The APPA Easter Egg Hunt.

All that remains is for me to thank you for your continued support this term.  It has been a delight to see how the children continue to flourish and develop in the Pre-Prep.  A true testament to a superb teaching team who always go above and beyond to make the difference for the children.

With best wishes,  Susie Drake,  Head of Pre-Prep

PP2's Project

PP2 have been learning about dairy farming and having a class debate about whether they would rather be a cow in India or a cow in North Yorkshire.

To help them decide they invited Mr Dinsdale to tell them about the cows on his farm.  They all wrote to thank him for his visit.
