Rio Carnival Parade!

Rio Carnival Parade!

News from Aysgarth

Dear all,

Term has certainly started with a bang in the Pre-Prep! Last Friday we had an open morning for prospective parents. Our visitors were given a warm welcome to the school and a very thorough and detailed tour by the children in PP3. Thank you to all in PP3 for doing such a super job.

Thursday saw the children decorating T-shirts and today there will be activities throughout the school, including: drumming workshops in the Reynolds Hall, mask making in Miss Phillips’ room, shaker making with Mrs Barlow and Mrs Snowball will be making headdresses. The Nursery and Reception are also taking part in creating their own masterpieces (please see the pictures inside). It may be snowing outside but it is more the tropical in the PrePrep!

With all best wishes,

Rob and Lottie Morse

Tie-dye t-shirts

Yesterday afternoon the children had great fun preparing part of their costumes for the carnival by tie-dying some plain white t-shirts.

Craft activities

Activities included mask making, creating shakers and designing headdresses.
