Art Competition

We received a wide range of imaginative entries for the 'pet' themed art competition this year

Entries came in from pupils of all ages as well as their friends and families. There were drawings, paintings, models, collages and photos enterered into this year's competition and everyone who entered had a story to tell about their entry. The competition was judged by the Rev. Simon Austen.

The winners have been announced!

Pre-Prep and Below: 1st: Alex Best : A sculpture of his dog.

    2nd: Alex Todd : A model fishtank.
    3rd: Sasha Reed : A horse collage.

Special mention for Thomas Sinnott’s ‘Nemo’ drawing and Ella Malvern’s ‘Cats’ picture.

Forms 1, 2 + 3:

1st: James Trevelyan : Dinosaur Petshop. 2nd: Fergus Stembridge : Model Stoat. 3rd: Andrew Stembridge : Hamster driving a JCB!

Forms 4 + 5:

1st: Max Jackson : Sculpture of a horse. 2nd: Josef Westgarth : pastel drawing of a puppy. 3rd: Jonathan Vincent : ‘Hedwig’, model owl.

Special mention for Alex Villiers-Smith, who did several entries in a wonderful variety of media.

Family and Friends:

1st: Olivia Hawkswell : Puppy painting in acrylics. 2nd: Jennifer and Vicky Smith : Collage of Tilly. 3rd: Ailsa Reed : Pen and Ink drawing of a goat.
