Pre-Prep children enjoy sunshine at sports day.

Internationally acclaimed guitarist and composer Eduardo Niebla invited pupils from Aysgarth and Queen Mary's choirs to sing on his new album.

Nearly £500 was raised on Sports Day to be shared between Dales Care and the African charity Heart to Heart.

The boys achieved 100% success rate in Common Entrance. This follows the news that three boys were awarded scholarships.

The 1st XI played some outstanding cricket to record three victories against some of the best schools in the South. Victories were recorded against the Dragon, Prior Park and St John's Beaumont.

An astonishing ten Aysgarth boys have been selected to play county cricket this term.

The 23rd May was allocated as a special day for the boys’ grandparents.

David Faber, the grandson of former Prime Minister Harold Macmillan, inspired 20 boys to run as candidates for Aysgarth's very own mini-election.

11 boys tasted life in Paris for 5 days. The trip gave them the opportunity to practise their French and soak up the Parisian culture.

The whole of Form 1 have just returned from Scotland where they spent three days on an adventure survival course.

Over 140 boys, parents and dogs (and one ferret!) competed in the Eighth Aysgarthian Run.

ISI graded the Nursery and Reception classes 'Outstanding' for all four categories and gave Yr 1 Pre-Prep to Yr 8 in the Prep, the highest grade of 'Excellent' for two out of three categories.

Aysgarth's under 11’s won the Rawthey Run at Sedbergh School. The Under 13’s team also came 2nd.

This year's Annual Fund Appeal has just been launched

Donations of sports clothing were given to the Mashambanzou Trust and Mavambo Trust in Zimbabwe.

The School’s 1st XV is the second team to remain unbeaten since the School introduced rugby as a sport in 1910

The School was awarded the title ‘Best Prep School’ by Tatler Magazine at the launch of their 2010 Schools Guide.

The 1st XI produced an excellent couple of days of cricket at the Caldicott 20/20 festival to reach the final.

Yet again, the school is opening its doors during the summer holidays to provide high quality rugby and cricket tuition for children aged 8 - 13 years.

At the North Yorkshire Show, Aysgarth School and Queen Mary’s School, joined forces to promote the benefits of single sex education. At their stand, children could enter their ‘boys and girls’ drawing competition. Congratulations to winners William Barker, aged 5 and Archie Turner, aged 6.
