A Typical Day

From morning chapel to evening activities, pupils enjoy a balanced day of academics, sport and creative pursuits.

7:00am	Wake up
7:10am	Get up, wash, clean teeth and get dressed Beds are made, dorms tidied, hair brushed and shoes cleaned.

8:25am	Chapel
8:35am	Form Tutor period
8:45am	Lessons 1, 2 & 3
10:45am	Breaktime
11:10am	Lessons 4 & 5
12:30pm	Guided reading
12:45pm	Junior Lunch
1:50pm	Forms 1 & 2 - Lesson 6 Form 3 - Music Practice/Reading
2:25pm	Games
3:35pm	Breaktime
4:05pm	Lesson 7 & 8
5:30pm	Forms 1, 2 & 3 Tea
6:00pm	Forms 1 & 2 Free time Form 3 Prep
6:30pm	Junior Activities - Forms 1, 2, & 3 This could include water polo, tennis lessons, art scholars sessions, LAMDA, climbing, riding lessons, dancing, photogrpahy, swim squad training, junior debating.
7:15pm	Time to wind down and get prepared for the next day
7:45pm - 7:55pm	Bedtime

* There are no afternoon lessons on Wednesday and Saturday when matches and activities take place

7:45am	Get up. Make your bed and tidy your dorm
8:15am	Breakfast for which pyjamas, dressing gown and slippers can be worn After breakfast get changed for Chapel. Make sure your uniform is smart and that your hair is combed.
10:00am	Chapel
11:00am	Change into home clothes – fold uniform neatly on your cabinet! Activities - might include clay pigeon shooting, laser tag, paddleboarding, a sports activity, rifle shooting, swimming, waterslide or a parent & child competition
1:00pm	Lunch
1:45pm	ADP – a quiet time for reading etc. to allow lunch to be digested!
2:15pm	Activities - this could be a trip to the assault course, mountain biking, bowling, cinema trip, campcraft or cooking
5:30pm	Tea
6:00pm	General tidy up – common rooms, classrooms etc. Tuck is handed out
6:30pm	Free Time and quiet activity – television, board games, reading etc.

All classes, including the Nursery have music and swimming lessons every week.
