In this issue they reported that "Aysgarth remained unbeaten in 14 games, including two wins in Scotland. The best was at Cargilfield where great defence saw Aysgarth receive a score of 19-12 after No. 8 Ethan Madronal had grabbed a hat-trick of tries".

First Eleven magazine (Spring Issue, 2012)

Aysgarth Junior boys feature on the front cover and the School appears in sports news and a feature about boarding schools in the North. "Eton may be relatively far from Aysgarth but it is one of the main feeders...the rural setting is appealing to parents and they feel the ethos of the school is less pressurised but the results are good..". One of our parents Celina Carter is quoted in the feature to say "Aysgarth provides the perfect balance between delivering a rounded education and creating a fun and homely environment in which the boys can flourish".

Spectator's Guide to Independent Schools, 2011.

Following a visit to the School by journalist John McEwen, he wrote about Aysgarth staying to true to its original purpose, "finding itself not only distinct but paradoxically progressive, and in a position to demonstrate why educating the sexes separately is also thought for solid reasons, to be the better way".

At the launch of its 2010 guide, Tatler announced that Aysgarth was the winner of the 'Best Prep School'.

Tatler's Schools Guide 2014 "Aysgarth is the only all-boys prep in this part of England and is non- selective. All they look for is 'bags of enthusiasm'. It's 90 per cent boarding and there are lots of high jinks in the 50 acres of grounds (ferreting with the maths master is popular, we hear). Great Boy's Own adventure trips too: camping in the Dales or sleeping on hay bales in Scotland. Leavers skip on to Eton, Harrow, Shrewsbury, Radley - you name it. An inspector says, unofficially, that parents from the South would flock to Aysgarth if they knew how good it was. We've been singing its praises for years, but clearly need to turn up the volume.”.
