Best known for his international bestseller The Orchard Book of First Greek Myths, Saviour has published over a hundred books, sold over 2 million copies of his Greek Myths series, and has been translated into 23 languages.

Alistair, a Form 4 boy at Aysgarth, has accomplished an extraordinary feat over half term by completing a 12-hour darts challenge and raising over £1500 for Combat Stress, a charity supporting veterans' mental health.
Every five years, the Aysgarth community embark on a journey to raise money through a walking challenge from Aysgarth to Aysgarth School, known affectionately as the Big Walk. A distance of 16 miles.

Not content with a single day of European Languages, The Aysgarth pupils have enjoyed a full week of celebrating Europe's linguistic and cultural diversity.
Pupils in PP3 and above took part in their Steer assessments today to help build their individual wellbeing plans.
With the new term well underway, it has been wonderful to see all of the hard work that has taken place over the summer being appreciated by the boys and staff. We're constantly upgrading and redeveloping our facilities to ensure our pupils receive a first class education in the best possible surroundings and this year was no exception.

For the final cross-country fixture of the season we travelled to a windswept Terrington. Supported once again by a large number of very enthusiastic parents the boys did not disappoint with some fantastic team and individual performances.
Over 500 runners from 21 Schools took to the hills surrounding Sedbergh School on Thursday 23rd January to contest the notorious Rawthey Run.
