Aysgarth School marked the annual European Day of Languages in grand style.
Aysgarth U13A achieved a remarkable victory last night, emerging as the champions in the Prep Schools North of England Rugby Schools Cup.
How We Tailor Learning for Pupils' Theatrical Pursuits
Aysgarth School, clinched the Under 12 Bunbury Cup to become Yorkshire County Champions on July 4, 2023.
All 40 boys received merits or distinctions. 27 Distinctions and 13 Merits.

Not content with a single day of European Languages, The Aysgarth pupils have enjoyed a full week of celebrating Europe's linguistic and cultural diversity.
Pupils in PP3 and above took part in their Steer assessments today to help build their individual wellbeing plans.
With the new term well underway, it has been wonderful to see all of the hard work that has taken place over the summer being appreciated by the boys and staff. We're constantly upgrading and redeveloping our facilities to ensure our pupils receive a first class education in the best possible surroundings and this year was no exception.

For the final cross-country fixture of the season we travelled to a windswept Terrington. Supported once again by a large number of very enthusiastic parents the boys did not disappoint with some fantastic team and individual performances.
Over 500 runners from 21 Schools took to the hills surrounding Sedbergh School on Thursday 23rd January to contest the notorious Rawthey Run.
On Thursday 23rd January Hollie and Jenny from Alfresco Learning visited the Pre-Prep to deliver a day of outdoor workshops with the children to enhance this terms topics.

Form 2 - Tollund Man
Tollund Man was a naturally mummified bog body discovered in Denmark in 1950. He was likely a sacrifice during the Iron Age and provided insights into ancient life and diet. His last meal consisted of porridge made from barley and seeds of flax or knotweed. Today, some Form 2 recreated his last meal and ate it.
