Aysgarth Community Walks the Talk for Charity!

The Aysgarth community came together on Sunday, May 12th, for their Big Walk, a 16-mile trek raising funds for two inspiring charities. Nearly 300 participants, including walkers as young as 8 and 9, laced up their shoes to support the Yorkshire Vikings Visually Impaired Cricket Club (YVVIC) and Changing Faces.

The success of the Big Walk wouldn't have been possible without the tireless efforts of everyone involved, from marshals and support teams to catering staff and transport planners.

The fundraising efforts have been impressive, with over 400 supporters donating over £11,000 to both charities. These funds will make a significant difference for both YVIC and Changing Faces.

The Aysgarth community's Big Walk is a testament to their unwavering spirit and commitment to helping others. It's a story of compassion, teamwork, and achieving great things together.
