It is with great sadness that we share the news that Michelle Jameson passed away earlier in the week. Michelle joined Aysgarth in 1999 and spent 23 years as a stalwart of the matroning team. She was always a friendly and kind face around school and her ability to find lost property was second to none. Michelle had been battling leukaemia in the past months and on Wednesday her husband informed the School that she passed away with her family around her.

Mr Morse has written to her family and has sent condolences from the entire Aysgarth community.

The news was shared with the staff and the boys during chapel yesterday and the School flag was flown at half mast.

Our thoughts remain with Michelle’s family.
