Terrington Hall cross-country competition

The cold wind made running difficult for all and there were about 10 schools taking place. The course was well set out for the spectators and with plenty of up and down for the runners.

The U-9's were first off and after a fast start settled into their race. A super run and strong finish saw Albert T claim first place and his team mates finished well to bag second place in the team event.

In the U-11 race Hugo B led virtually from the start to claim his second commanding win in as many weeks. The rest of the boys packed in close behind to score a victory in the team event as well.

Many of the U-13 runners were feeling a little nostalgic as this was their last cross country race as a team so it was particularly wonderful that they put in such a strong team performance to win the event.

Overall Aysgarth dominated the boys events and deservedly so. Once again you could see the effort etched in their faces as they raced by. A huge well done to all the boys who took part, they can be very proud of their effort and achievements.
