Anna Tomlinson BA (Hons) Modern Foreign Languages, Bristol University, Primary PGCE, University the West of England. Anna began her teaching career at a primary school in Bristol teaching Year 5 for two years before marrying John and moving to Yorkshire. Anna has been teaching English at Aysgarth for the last 12 years. In addition, Anna’s linguistic abilities made her the obvious candidate for the additional role of teaching English one-to-one to our international pupils.

Although Anna has loved being part of the English department she has always wanted to return to classroom teaching. From September Mrs Tomlinson will take on the role of Form 1 teacher alongside Mrs Metcalfe.
