John Tomlinson, BA (Hons) University of West of England. Mr Tomlinson has been teaching at Aysgarth since 2010 as the Head of Geography. John has also been a Form 2 tutor for fourteen years and is responsible for the successful running of the Aysgarth camping and outdoor programme. Every prep child goes on a camp of some description ranging from bushcraft camps to wild camping in Wensleydale.

His extensive knowledge of the school, combined with a deep understanding of the additional life skills that boarding gives many of our pupils, makes him a valuable addition. With his partner Anna increasing her teaching commitments and both sons happily settled in the Pre-Prep, we are delighted that John will be the newest member of the Boarding Team.
