Reflecting on the weekend, Coach Eleanor Mercer (Level 4 Senior Coach) said:

“What an amazing weekend, as Alnwick is the northern championships I think we can safely say that Aysgarth School are the northern champions! They won five team competitions, and secured fantastic individual podium places. Every team member rode fantastically and followed instructions - without each child riding to the best of their ability, the teams would never have been as strong.”

Congratulations to all riders who once again rode with courage, composure, and great pride. A heartfelt thank you to Eleanor for her expertise and guidance.

Equestrian is one of more than 60 activities in Aysgarth School’s extensive co-curricular programme. Providing representational horse-riding opportunities, the equestrian pathway sits alongside other high-level sporting honours available at the School and is enjoyed by boys and girls, alike.
