Form 3R Rise to the Challenge in Chapel Singing

Each week, the entire Pre-Prep gathers in Chapel for singing practice, a much-loved part of the school week and a joyful start to the day. This week, however, there was a particularly special addition, as one of our Form 3 classes, 3R, stepped forward to lead the singing.

It is important to note that these pupils are not a choir. They are simply one of the three Form 3 classes who were asked to rise to the challenge of leading our youngest pupils in song and they did! They sang with such confidence, enthusiasm and musicality that the moment simply had to be captured on film.

Standing at the front of the Chapel in the Form 5 Choir stalls, 3R sang with real gusto and focus, setting an excellent example for the Pre-Prep pupils. The younger children responded, singing with energy and commitment in hymns including Brother, SisterSeek Ye First and Sing Hosanna, clearly inspired by their older peers.

Moments like this are a wonderful reminder of the strength of our whole-school community. Daily singing at Aysgarth brings pupils of all ages together, encourages confidence and teamwork, and fills the Chapel with warmth and joy.

Very well done to Form 3R and to our Pre-Prep singers. You made a truly fabulous sound.
